Adam Alrubaie joins MSH Architects

MSH Architects recently added Adam Alrubaie as Design Partner, specializing in Health Care. Adam is a British-qualified Architect, a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and a member of the Architects Registration Board in the United Kingdom. He is an International Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects. Adam is a Brighton University graduate (UK) with a Masters Degree in Urban Design & Regeneration from the University of Manchester (UK).

Adam holds two design awards in the United Kingdom--one for Conservation and Restoration of Historic Buildings, which date back to circa 1700 a.d. in West Sussex (UK) and an Environmental Design Award for a sport/leisure facility in Liverpool (UK).

Adam has extensive Health Care Design experience in the United Kingdom and Middle East. In the UK, Adam was the lead architect in the design of new structured and in refurbishment of many hospital facilities. 

Adam has worked with major international architectural and engineering firms. His most recent appointment was as Senior Design Architect of a design team appointed to deliver the state-of-the-art 350 bed Cleveland Clinic located in the United Arab Emirates. 

Previously while working with other international architectural firms, Adam directed design teams to deliver and construct other new and remodeled healthcare facilities.  Some of these facilities include; a 350-bed psychiatric hospital, a 100-bed pediatric hospital, a 100-bed trauma hospital, a 250-bed university teaching hospital, a 150-chair dental hospital, and a 150-bed mother & child hospital.  All of these facilities were designed to American Institute of Architects healthcare standards.

Crooks Library Renovation

The Crooks Library (part of the Siouxland Libraries) has been under a major interior renovation. Work started Dec. 7, 2009 and is completed. The renovation project expanded the public space in the building, creating distinct areas for children, teens and adults. A Ribbon Cutting and Open House will be the end of April. Check the Siouxland Libraries website for information and progress photos.
