What does it mean to be an architect? The answer to that question can be hard to convey to those outside the profession. In an attempt to briefly answer that question and remind we architects of why we do what we do, the American Institute of Architects created a short video. The Crooks Library (part of the Siouxland Libraries) has been under a major interior renovation. Work started Dec. 7, 2009 and is completed. The renovation project expanded the public space in the building, creating distinct areas for children, teens and adults. A Ribbon Cutting and Open House will be the end of April. Check the Siouxland Libraries website for information and progress photos.
